Itinerary
This program works perfectly for families and groups in search of tranquility and fun sessions with kids or friends. We mix this session with some hours exploring the deep jungle during the day or nights.
Day 01: Reception – Walking in the rain forest
The journey begins when you arrive in Puerto Maldonado, where your tour guide awaits for you and have a boat trip along the Madre de Dios River to Ecolucerna Lodge (approximately 1 ½ hrs downstream). Upon arrival you will enjoy a tasty lunch made from organic and native ingredients. After lunch you will take a walk through the trails, where you will discover and learn about the primary and secondary forest, its components, uses, man-made transformations, and its relevance to the world. This walk will end at night where you will have the opportunity to observe the behavior of the nocturnal flora and fauna of the Amazon.
Our day ends with a restorative dinner, since tomorrow we will have to get up early to travel

Day 02: Keep sweet the rainforest with artesanal chocolate
As usual after breakfast we start with our journey and accoding the weather conditions we could join the farmery during the morning or afternoon.
On this tour, be part of a unique session in which you will learn in depth about the different cocoa fruits and the ways in which they are farmed on our area. You will have the opportunity to see, touch and taste the cocoa pod and beans. We may visit the neighboring farms, the botanical garden or the organic farm surrounding the ecolodge in order to find the cocoa tree, according teh season. We return to the great Cayman saloon and you will participate in the process of preparing artisanal chocolate in the Amazonian and rustic style. We will be there for roasting, peeling, mixing and molding the final products that Wonka and everyone loves.
At night you will have an interesting night excursión, here you will navigate the Madre de Dios River, to know its ecosystem, Amazonian streams, the behavior of the nocturnal fauna on the banks of the river.
Our day ends with a traditional dinner in the cayman dining room.

Day 03: Sunrise &check out to Puerto Maldonado
Our team say bye bye today and provide a last tasty breakfast, by the mornign we recomend to be in the public hammok area to capture the real amazon spirit and enjoy the brezze of nature.
By 8am we return to Puerto Maldonado on a combined trip by boat and car ending in the airport or your hotel in the city.
